Frequently Asked Questions

When can I pick up my yearbook?

The yearbook runs on a spring delivery schedule, meaning they will become available towards the end of the spring semester (e.g. the 2013-2014 book will be available before Graduation 2014).

How much do they cost?

The yearbooks are free! We receive funding from the Student Media Council which comes from Student Activity fees. So when you see one sitting out, feel free to take it one. Non-students are also encouraged to take the yearbooks as well.

How do I order one to be shipped to my personal address?

Ordering is a little different because of the shipping costs involved, so you must pay for shipping and handling.

Shipping a volume of The Colonial Echo costs $10.00. Send a check made payable to The Colonial Echo along with your mailing address and the volume of the yearbook you need to our address below, and your yearbook will be shipped to you when the books are available.

Send all checks to:

The Colonial Echo

The College of William & Mary

Campus Center

PO Box 8795

Williamsburg, VA 23187

Are there any old yearbooks?

Yes! We have a lot of old yearbooks in the office that we would be happy to ship to you, however we have more books from certain years. Please email us (colonialechophotos@gmail.com) and request the book you are looking for. A book 5 years or older costs an extra $10 to the shipping price above.

When are portrait sessions and how much do they cost?

Portrait sessions (underclass yearbook portraits and senior cap and gown portraits) vary from year to year. Check for the date under Important Dates. To get your picture in the yearbook is free! However, the cost of the picture prints vary according to the Photographer’s price.
